Applications are welcomed from those holding an LL.M. degree from an internationally recognised university, an LL.B. with additional requirements or an equivalent qualification. Relevant work experience is preferred. The programme is designed to be suitable for law graduates and people having relevant work experience, so it is not necessary to have a law degree.

English Language Qualifications
If English is not your first language, you will need to satisfy the Universities' English language requirements. These can be satisfied by having studied your first degree in the medium of English, or else by possession of any one of the following qualifications: - IELTS (paper based): 6.5
- TOEFL (computer based): 100
- TOEFL (online): 250
- TOEFL: 600
If you hold some other qualification, you should contact us and the Admission Board will decide on whether this is acceptable.
Summary of Admission/Selection criteria
  Normally:   - LL.M. + current relevant job
  - LL.B. + GPA of 7/10, 2:1, C+, etc + min. 2 years relevant working experience    - Any other university master + min. 2 years relevant working experience
  - Letter from the employer, proof of relevant working experience
  - 6,5 IELTS (or equivalent Toefl score)
  - Admission by University of Groningen on behalf of the Admission Board
Candidates with another degree (or other equivalent qualification) should not be deterred from applying as each application is considered on its merits. In exceptional circumstances, other qualifications of equivalent status may be accepted. Please contact the NSELP:
